You heard me talk and write about Ryan Roxie doing a podcast of his own during the Alice Cooper Dirty Diamonds are Forever Tour. Ryan put his money where his mouth is and published 2 shows so far.
Ryan’s podcast is called: Roxie’s Big Rock Show and can be found at his weblog. The second show features an interview with our very own Eric Singer recorded while they were touring in Australia. To listen to the show you have to subscribe (via iTunes for example) to his podcast feed because the shows are not directly available for download through his weblog.

Just a day after the report that the Dudley UK Expo was cancelled a new report was published announcing the third United Kingdom KISS Expo taking place in Nottingham on November 19th 2005.
Main attraction during the Expo will be Eric Singer, hot from the Alice Cooper UK tour (which will end November 17th in Bournemouth). There is a Live performance from tribute band Dressed to Kill and Ian Lee (from UK Channel 4 tv station) will be present.
I am excited about visiting this expo to do some live reporting from the event for The KISS Podcast and to do interviews with attendees, dealers, the tribute band (and hopefully Eric). If you are interested in attending the Expo make sure you check out low cost airline BMI Baby.com for cheap flights (as low as 1,90 euro) to the Nottingham East Midlands (EMA) Airport.

Yesterday I received a cheque from the Google Adsense program in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised to see a certain amount being generated by all of the KISS Podcast supporters which have been clicking on the Google banner bellow. This helps big time to cover all the costs I have to make to keep this podcast up and running, such as: hosting expenses, gear purchases, etc. I guess putting a Google Adsense banner up really helps, so a thank you is in order here to anybody who clicked the banner.
I want to thank all the fans and supporters of The KISS Podcast for helping me continue to make this podcast. I hope you like what I have done here at The KISS Podcast. If so, please continue to show your support and click on our Google banner or use Paul’s firehelmet on the right to submit a donation through PayPal.

The other day I had the opportunity to be interviewed by my friend Jason Salas from the Island of Guam for his Digital Pontification Interview Series.
As I finish KISS podcast show number 7 you can listen to the interview which is about 45 minutes long. We talk about podcasting in general, gear tips, the playing of copyrighted music and discuss artists covering KISS tunes, like Cher for instance. If you wish to subscribe to Jason’s podcast use this link in your podcatch client. Or visit the Digital Pontification website to listen/download the shows.

Today I received a package in the mail which contained the bootleg edition of the so called KISS Exposed II home video edition. This triple DVD set contains nearly 5 hours of footage from the first week of the 1990 Hot In The Shade tour. This is raw unedited footage which the band were compiling for a possible Exposed 2 Home video which was shelved for some reason.
The main reason I am interested in this video footage is to see if the audio would be up to standards to broadcast on The KISS Podcast. With the new KISS DVD being prepared for release I realized how much I love those Exposed, Konfedential and Second Coming editions. The backstage footage is great to watch and some of the audio is pretty hilarious. So hopefully something good will come out of this never before released home video footage. Let me know what you think…
I watched the first disc and must say the audio is not that great (hey, it’s a bootleg copy and was filmed 15 years ago). Hopefully the other 2 discs are better, if not, I’ll try to make it work so I can make a show out of the footage and include some other Hot In The Shade songs and interviews. You can find the set on eBay if you are interested in footage like this. I’ll try to put the new show online this weekend.
