The other day I had the opportunity to be interviewed by my friend Jason Salas from the Island of Guam for his Digital Pontification Interview Series.
As I finish KISS podcast show number 7 you can listen to the interview which is about 45 minutes long. We talk about podcasting in general, gear tips, the playing of copyrighted music and discuss artists covering KISS tunes, like Cher for instance. If you wish to subscribe to Jason’s podcast use this link in your podcatch client. Or visit the Digital Pontification website to listen/download the shows.

Apple has introduced a new version of iTunes, iTunes being the best music jukebox software for your computer. The new 4.9 version now supports Podcasting, you can more easily subscribe to any podcast or radio show and sync them to your iPod.
Also new is the iTunes Podcast Directory within the iTunes Music Store. The directory features over 3,000 free podcasts which you can find with ease and subscribe to in a second. The KISS Podcast is not yet listed in this directory but that does not mean you cannot play or subscribe to The KISS Podcast through iTunes. KISS fans can now experience an integrated solution for listening to the show.
Here is how it works:
1. Download iTunes version 4.9 for Windows or Mac.
2. Install on your computer.
3. Subscribe to The KISS Podcast feed through the ‘Advanced’ menu tab in iTunes.
I am in the process of preparing The KISS Podcast for inclusion into the iTunes Podcast Directory to ensure the subscription process is even easier. Until that happens, please use the above method to enjoy The KISS Podcast show.

It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll, Rock and Roll Collectibles is featuring a nice collection of rare KISS items up for auction. Included in the auction are a Peter Criss and Ace Frehley costume, a KISS Arcade Pinball Machine and a Gene Simmons handwrtten lyrics book.
Here is the more uncommon yellow version of the KISS “Firehouse” helmet. Very rare and prized among KISS Kollectors! Helmet has scuffs. Thanks to Anything KISS.

At the San Diego All Things Digital conference on Sunday, Apple CEO Steve Jobs demonstrated new podcast features in the next version of iTunes (presumably 4.9). Jobs said the new version of iTunes will be released within the next 60 days.
Why am I posting this on the KISS Podcast site? iTunes is the solution for listening to audio on your computer, integrating the downloading and listening aspect of Podcasting in the new release of iTunes will make things a lot more comfortable for KISS Podcatchers (KISS Podcast listeners).

I am so excited to report that I got permission to interview ESP for the Podcast. I was speaking to the ESP tourmanager to tell him about my podcast project and my ideas to conduct an interview. I’ll tell you all about in the next KISS Podcast, I am putting it together now. It’s a little later then usual, it’s been quite a busy time for me. In the mean time, check out the KISS Kollector website to see what Eric Singer has to say about the ESP tour.
Within a few days the ESP tour will start here in Europe. The Eric Singer Project will kick off their tour of Europe on Wednesday, April 27 in Sweden, then they’re heading for Denmark, on April 29 they’ll play live in Holland, the next day Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick, John Corabi and Chuck Garric will be in Germany and on May 1 and 2 they’ll perform live in Spain before returning home where Eric will have to rehearse for the Alice Cooper tour.
ESP European Tour dates for April and May:
If you are into Alice Cooper, you can also check out the new Rock and Roll Geek Show podcast where Michael has an interview with Ryan Roxie (the guitarist for Alice Cooper) tuning in from Stockholm, Sweden. Ryan Roxie will be playing one song with ESP at Mondo in Stockholm. They will invite him up on stage to play an encore which will be a Cheap Trick song called ‘Surrender’.
