Did you see Paul on American Idol this week? Paul joined the rest of the audience as he watched the ‘Musical’ or ‘Andrew Lloyd Webber’ episode with his wife Erin.
Right after contestant David Archuleta finished his Phantom of the Opera song (Think of Me), the camera pointed to the only ‘real’ Phantom sitting in the audience. Paul is rumored to be in talks to star as the Phantom in the Las Vegas production: Phantom, The Las Vegas Spectacular.
Andrew Lloyd Webber, also in the audience, took the Idol contestants to the Las Vegas Phantom theatre to practise. When you put two and two together it almost looks like Paul will be Phantom again, this time in Vegas. Note to self… having some recordings of Paul performing as the Phantom in Toronto I should do a Phantom/Paul podcast.

In light of KISS starting their Alive 35 world tour in Melbourne on Sunday after the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, I reckon it is a good moment to introduce a new section to the site …
I figure a lot of people would like to express their opinion or talk about the new tour (you know, share concert stories, discuss setlist) and what better way to do that right here since I will be covering the Alive 35 tour anyway.
I set up some default Forums to start with. These made the most sense at the moment, we will see how discussion develops and can always anticipate new Forums being added or irrelevant ones being cut. Of course these boards will also come in handy when new Podcast shows are released, it’s much easier to talk about show contents, show audio when you the space and platform to do so.
Although registration is required to make and respond to posts, it is free to register and all are welcome. You can set your own avatar (if you don’t have one, there is a default set from which you can choose) and signature to distinguish yourself visually. Hopefully you like the compact design of the Forum pages, please keep in mind that some minor bugs can appear due to the boards being brand new. When this happens just drop me an e-mail. Also if you have any suggestions let me know too.
Please enjoy the new Forums and please keep it clean, thanks

Dion is back doing the KISS Podcast. Broadcasts will resume very soon, I have to do some site and equipment upgrades before new shows will air. Lots to talk about, for instance the new Alive35 World tour. The KISS Podcast will be attending shows in Europe to do some reporting, meet with fans and enjoy the shows!!! Starting in Oberhausen on May 9th 2008 (European tour start), I hope to see a lot of German and international KISS fans outside Oberhausen Arena. Spread the word, spread the word

This has been a fun day. The hosting provider for The KISS Podcast decided to update their servers with a new version of PHP (security update) which left our content management system crippled. Luckily for me a new version of the cms was made available because of this php security update. So I spent most of the day updating and troubleshooting the website. I also took the opportunity to update our subscription feed and install some new website features which I am going to be telling you about in the next show. Sorry for the inconvenience. Everything should work normally but if you experience any problems you can always contact me.

Due to a server change at the Internet Archive (where all the old shows are hosted) all archived KISS Podcast shows were not available anymore. Due to some attentive listeners I was made aware of this problem and able to correct the links to the shows. Apologies to everyone who wanted to download the archived shows but was not able to do so. The problem is fixed and I hope you will enjoy listening to the archived shows.
